Spiritual Awakening: A Journey of Transformation and Self-Discovery

Awaken Your Inner Whole Woman

Help, I am experiencing a spiritual awakening. Have you ever wondered what is a spiritual awakening? Are you on a personal quest for clarity and meaning and have tons of questions.

Today I share about my spiritual awakening and journey to authentic living. My transformative journey began in 2019 with the mysterious appearance of numbers. These subtle signs were the beginning of an internal revolution, awakening within me a longing for deeper meaning and purpose. As the world faced the turbulence of the pandemic, I found myself questioning everything—my beliefs, values, and even my identity. Despite fearing the loss of those closest to me, I embraced the opportunity for authenticity, shedding old layers to align with my truest self.

Experience the metamorphosis akin to a caterpillar's transformation into a butterfly as I discuss the emotional challenges and profound questions that accompany a spiritual awakening. Through healing, growth, and self-discovery, the journey may lead to revisiting past traumas and confronting limiting beliefs.

Whether you're just beginning to notice the signs or deep into your journey, this episode offers insights and encouragement to live with clarity, courage, and an open heart.

Speaker 1:

Welcome to Awaken your Inner Whole Woman, the show for spiritually rooted women who are hungry for change and growth.

Speaker 1:

I am your host, natalie Warren, and my mission as a personal development strategist and inner healer is to inspire, educate and motivate women worldwide to stop limiting themselves and settling for less than what they want and were created to be. If you are ready to transform your life by getting out of your own way, hearing your soul's voice above the noise and activating your life's purpose, you are at the best place. Let's tune in to today's episode of. You are at the best place. Let's tune in to today's episode of Awaken your Inner Whole Woman. Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to Awaken your Inner Whole Woman podcast. I am so delighted that you are here, that you've joined us. If you are returning, welcome back. If this is your very first time, know that you are here because you feel a call. You feel a call to go deeper. You are awakening to the truth of who you are. You're awakening to consciousness, you're awakening to healing, and I am here with you on the journey, and we are going to have a conversation today that I've been looking to have for some time now. So today's podcast is all about spiritual awakenings. What is a spiritual awakening? How do I know if I'm going through one and what to do if I find myself in this space and so, for a moment, bringing awareness around it? Many people may have different perspectives or thoughts, and so I thought it's important, or thought it was important, to share with you what I think about. And so, when I think about a spiritual awakening, it is this deep inner shift. It's where you start to see yourself in the world in a new light, and for some, it happens in moments of calm and peace. For others, it can be in a time of turmoil and chaos in your life, and when you are in this space, it really feels like you're waking up from a long sleep and you start to question everything. For me, I started to question old beliefs, I started to question patterns, I started to question routines and finding myself landing in spaces and places where I said this no longer is true for me, and that was scary. And my journey.

Speaker 1:

It started in 2019 that I one day woke up to numbers on my clock and those numbers were everywhere. That particular day, the numbers 333 or 33 were everywhere, and it was one of those things in life that when you experience it, there's no denying it that I knew something was going on. And I go to sleep that night and I wake up to the numbers 444. At 444 am that morning, I awakened and I thought, hmm, this is interesting. Then I went to sleep and I woke up the next morning and it was 5-5-5.

Speaker 1:

And I knew then, in that moment, something was happening, something was shifting. I didn't have the language for it, but then the numbers 5-5 and 5-5-5 following me. I couldn't escape it, I couldn't ignore it. It was undeniable and I started looking up what does this mean? What does this mean? And at the time I looked at it and the numbers five.

Speaker 1:

Five were about transformation. It was about change. And so, in my mind, I got excited because I had been preparing for things. I had been dreaming, I had goals, I had visions, and so I thought, oh, this is the time. I had been dreaming, I had goals, I had visions, and so I thought, oh, this is the time. And then I realized, as I continued on the journey, that the change wasn't happening externally. There was some major shifts and changes that were happening within me.

Speaker 1:

I started to feel this heightened awareness of my emotions. Many of them were unpleasant. There were deep feelings of sadness and grief and loneliness and this is at the time of the pandemic, so it was even hard to tell where it was coming from or why. But I was having this also deep feeling of longing longing for more, wanting to know more about who am I? One of my favorite questions that I've asked God over my life is who am I? Show me who I am and show me who I am in you. And so it was these questions, it was the seeking, it was the wanting to know, it was being led. There are now times that I look back over these years and I recognized that I was divinely led throughout it.

Speaker 1:

The people that were placed in my path the book, the podcast, the awareness of red cardinals. I would see them. They would hang out in the trees in the backyard of my home. They would literally lie in front of my vehicle. It was undeniable. If you've ever experienced something like this, you know what I mean, and so my attention was wide open. I was like what's happening? What are you trying to tell me? What are you trying to show me, god? Because there was this desire for meaning and purpose and I knew this is great what I am doing now, but there is more for me to do. There's a greater impact. There are more gifts that are within me that are ready to be activated, and I started to seek that and I started to pursue that, and I started to place and position myself in ways to gain that. There was this desire, this pull to connect with my inner self, to really know who am I, what is it that I believe? What is it that I value? How do I want to show up in the world? All of these are questions, and sometimes it was challenging.

Speaker 1:

It was in this phase that I had to come to terms with what if this evolution that's happening in me, what if this means I lose everyone that I know and love? And that was scary. That was scary because I thought about my parents, I thought about my siblings, I thought about my husband what does this mean for my children? And that caused me to want to stop. But then I thought to myself well, if it means that I have to lose everything to gain everything, I have to be okay with that. I have to come to terms with that, have peace with that.

Speaker 1:

And I found other people. This is where I started to look for a community. And I found other people. This is where I started to look for community. I started to look for people who were saying similar things or experiencing similar things through their social media posts, and I reached out. I said, hey, I want to have a conversation. This is where I am. I don't know how to name it. I don't know what's happening. I don't know where, where this is taking me, but I see or notice this about you, what's going on with you, how are you feeling, what's happening for you.

Speaker 1:

And so having these conversations and building community was healing for me, because one of our greatest fears as humans is that we will be alone and we won't be loved. And that was a real thing. That. What would happen if I were alone, with the fear of not being loved. But I started hearing people saying me too, you're experiencing this too. What's happening? And that made me feel like I wasn't alone, that it wasn't just me, which is probably something you want to hear. And so I started to face these things and share them with the people that I loved and recognized. They, too, were understanding that they, too, were somehow evolving, that they were open to things that I thought maybe they weren't so open to, and it caused a deeper connection and I didn't feel like I had to carry these things or hold them on my own, that I could share them now with others.

Speaker 1:

And so, in this process, this experience of shedding the old, many of you may start to feel drawn towards a path of healing, a path of growth, a path of self-discovery, Because, ultimately, a spiritual awakening is about aligning with a deeper truth of you. It's about this sense of purpose and this authenticity in your life. And maybe that's where you are, maybe you are on a verge of this major transformation. What I've learned in my time and my understanding as I've grown, is that that's what women are drawn to. The women that attend my events, the women that attend my retreats, the women that come into my path, are in some form of transformation. They are in a space for some transformation, that they're transforming in all areas of their lives or in others. It may be one or two areas.

Speaker 1:

And what I've learned about that transformation, this time of changing, is it can get your attention. I've learned that sometimes it can bring up emotions, it can bring up experiences, trauma, things in your life that need to be healed. It can cause you to ask deep questions like who am I beneath all the roles and responsibilities I carry? What does my soul truly need at this stage in my life? How can I honor it? What are the patterns, what are the beliefs, what are the fears that are holding me back that I am ready to release? How can I cultivate a life that feels aligned, peaceful and true to who I am? What is my purpose? What is my soul's purpose or calling, and what steps can I take towards that calling and what steps can I take towards that? How do I navigate the spiritual awakening and make sense of these new experiences? How do I hold on to what I want to keep as true and let go of the stuff that I no longer feel is true? How can I nourish my body, my mind and my spirit to support my journey?

Speaker 1:

And some of you are even feeling a greater connection to nature, and you're asking how can I reconnect with nature to find peace, clarity and inspiration? I'm saying these questions to you because those are questions that I had. Those are the moments where I sat and thought. Those are the moments where I got in stillness and silence because I wanted to know that truth, and if you find yourself in this space, I want you to know it's okay. I want you to know that you are experiencing a spiritual awakening and even if it feels like you're in the darkest part in your life, I want you to know that that's a part of the process that you are going through, this transformation, almost like a caterpillar that's going through its process in the cocoon to later evolve into what we beautifully love to see the butterfly. And so, if this is where you are, I want to share with you an opportunity, because I have an upcoming retreat that is intended for this purpose. It is called Awaken in the Wild, where we are going to literally spend three days or four days and three nights in the stillness and beauty of the desert.

Speaker 1:

When I think about spiritual leaders, when I think about Christ, many of his major transformations were in stillness and alone time, whether it was in the wilderness, or we think of other spiritual leaders that were in the mountains. They went away. They got away from the noise, from the busyness of life, from the mundane, and found themselves in a space of stillness and silence In nature. There's this healing property, this healing power, and it helps us to connect or reconnect to ourselves, and that's what we'll be doing. We'll be deeply relaxed, we will become re-inspired and ready to step into whatever that next chapter of our lives are with renewed clarity, knowing exactly what steps will support us on this journey, and I am excited to share that with you.

Speaker 1:

I typically hadn't shared it on podcasts before, but I felt today I want to share about spiritual awakenings and what it looks like, but I also want to help and support those that find themselves on that journey and this could be a life-changing experience to really support you, connect with this new understanding of yourself and what is it that you believe, so that you can be ready to live with clarity, courage and an open heart. It's called Awaken in the Wild. We'll be going to Joshua Tree June 6th no, june 9th through the 12th of 2025. I'll be sharing more about this experience with you, but check out the in the footnotes and get information about it and go to the website so you can find out about it as you are on your journey to awakening.
