Awaken Your Inner Whole Woman
Women Travel To Heal
Ready for a different kind of getaway—the kind that sends you home clearer, softer, and more you? We open a six-part journey into why women across backgrounds are packing a bag not to escape their lives, but to meet themselves more honestly. Natolie shares a pivotal story from Costa Rica where logistics turned into a living, breathing awakening, and the jungle’s harmony replaced performance with presence.
We explore how intentional travel becomes a healing container when you pair nature, breathwork, meditation, nourishing food, and sisterhood. You’ll hear the real difference between vacations and retreats: rest versus renewal, pause versus purpose, break versus breakthrough. From Bali and Morocco to Sedona and Joshua Tree, Natolie reflects on watching women arrive exhausted and leave radiant—eyes softer, posture open, and hearts far lighter. Along the way, we name a truth: healing loves new soil. When you change your environment, your nervous system resets, awe returns, and perspective widens into choice.
This conversation invites you to listen for your own inner whisper and create sacred space to just be. Whether you’re craving stillness by the ocean, strength on a mountaintop, or silence under desert stars, you’ll find language and practices that can guide your next step. If your soul is asking for room to breathe, consider this your gentle nudge to choose yourself without apology and follow it to a place that can hold your becoming.
If this resonates, share it with a sister who’s carried too much for too long, subscribe for the full series on women traveling to heal, and leave a review to help more women find their way back to themselves.

I am your host, Natalie Warren, and my mission as a personal development strategist and inner healer is to inspire, educate, and motivate women worldwide to stop limiting themselves and settling for less than what they want and were created to be. If you are ready to transform your life by getting out of your own way, hearing your soul's voice above the noise, and activating your life's purpose, you are at the best place. Let's tune in to today's episode of Awaken Your Inner Whole Woman. Hello, hello, hello Awaken Your Inner Whole Woman Podcast. I am delighted that you are here because you are ready to awaken to the truth of who you are. You're ready to awaken to healing, to your power, to consciousness. And I am your guide on the journey. I am your host, Natalie Warren. And I get to be a therapist, a retreat leader, a breathwork facilitator. And in our series, what we're now going to be focusing on is women are traveling to heal. Women are traveling to heal. So over this six part series, this is going to be a soulful transformational podcast journey where we're going to explore why women are journaling, journal, journaling, are journeying around the world to rest, release, and return to themselves. And I have been blessed over the last almost 20 years to really guide women through life transitions, emotional healing, and rediscovering who they really are beneath the roles, responsibilities, and expectations that they've carried. And I've been hosting retreats for the last 10 years. And what I've witnessed in myself personally and in the women that I serve is there is a movement that's happening. There is a sacred migration back to self. And women are traveling to heal, not just to take pictures on the beach, to check something off a bucket list, but to finally exhale and let go, to remember who they were before the world told them who they had to be. Man, it has been an amazing journey. I'm going to take you on part of that journey with me and talk to you about why women are traveling to heal. Wellness and transformational travel is really on the rise. So from my own personal experience, I just remember a time that I traveled to not escape my life, but to meet myself. And it really was probably not intentional. I'll say that. So in 2022, after me having some challenges and going through my own awakening, I decided that I was going to expand my business and do international retreats. And before the retreat, this particular spot that I went to, shout out to Emma Loa Institute. I actually had an opportunity to go on what they call a fam trip. So I thought in my mind I was going to just learn about the property and see how to structure my retreat. And boy, was I surprised. The beautiful, beautiful property, the staff, the food, all of that stood out. But I realized quickly that I wasn't there just for me to learn. I was there for me to receive. That I had carried an invisible weight, the kind of weight that sits on your shoulders, your chests, and your smile, that I didn't even realize how tense I was feeling. I wasn't even aware of how much fear I was carrying. And being in the jungles has a way, just like every other place that I choose to host my retreats in nature, has a way of bringing up what's already there. And so as I was invited to sit in the jungles, to be very close to God's creations, I remember things coming up that I needed to address. I also remembered the warmth of the air touching my skin, hearing how the jungle sounded, how it was not quiet, but it was in harmony. I remember the landscape. I remember moments of me saying, Natalie, you've got to be a, you've got to stop being afraid of who you are. I remember realizing that I had been holding my breath, managing things, producing things, performing, holding space for everyone else. And I forgotten what it was like to just be. This experience, this moment, absolutely changed me. And it's been almost, it's been over three years. And I'm still trying to put the words around what happened in me. If it wasn't for Costa Rica and the jungles that held me, really did. I don't know if I would be the person that I am in this moment. Because I realized that there was a remembering, there was a healing. There was me stepping out of the routine, getting away from the noise, and really allowing myself to be seen by the earth, by my breath, and by myself. And this experience ultimately planted a seed that later would bloom into me hosting retreats around the world. And I want to say that because that wasn't my initial plan or intent. I didn't see beyond what I knew. And so it allows me now to hold sacred spaces for women to rest, reconnect, and rise again. And for that, I'm eternally grateful. So women are seeking spaces to heal. And we're witnessing, or at least I've been able to witness something powerful around that, that women everywhere, across generations, backgrounds, beliefs are leaving home to come home to themselves. That they're realizing that healing doesn't always happen in familiar spaces. There is something powerful that happens when we get out of the familiar. That sometimes we actually need some distance to be able to gain a perspective. Sometimes we need new scenery to see ourselves differently. And for centuries, women have been conditioned to stay, to hold things together, to make sure everyone else is okay. But here is what I want you to hear something is shifting. I believe a part of it was the pandemic that cracked open a collective fatigue that showed us how disconnected we really have become from nature, from each other, and from our own inner worlds. And now women are reclaiming rest as a revolution. They are saying, I deserve to breathe too. I deserve to have my needs met. I deserve to make myself a priority. And I believe this isn't just a trend, it's a healing movement. And I've seen women travel in my own personal experiences. We've been to Bali three times. Morocco, Greece, we've been to Sedona, Arizona, and Joshua Tree, California. And next year we're gearing up to do Morocco again. We're going to the Georgia Mountains and so many other opportunities. Not just for beauty, but for belonging. That we're seeking places that mirror the sacred, the ocean waves that remind us how to flow again, the mountaintops that reflect our own inner strength, the silence of the desert that speaks louder than our words. Traveling is healing. It's not just escaping our lives. It is truly about creating enough space to listen to life's whispers again. And so you may be thinking, oh, I do vacations all the time. And I'm fully aware that individuals don't need me to go on vacation. And that's why I create more transformational retreats. That there is a difference between a vacation and a transformational retreat. Where a vacation gives you rest. A retreat gives you renewal. On vacation, you disconnect from work. On a retreat, you reconnect with your why. There is a big difference there. That vacation says, I need a break. A retreat says, I need a breakthrough. And I have, oh my gosh, been so blessed to see women experience breakthroughs where they are letting go of limiting beliefs that no longer serve them, identities that were never intended for them, that they're recognizing I too matter, my needs matter. Like we do, you step into a container designed for healing. And I'm very conscious of the places even we travel, that they are conducive for the work that we're going to do. That something will shift on a soul level. And I am aware that we are all called to that place at that time. So while you might see us sipping on some coconuts, just know that we've been shedding layers of who we thought we had to be, and guiding you into experiences that really awaken your awareness through breath work, where we really become more aware of the breath and the power of the breath, awareness through meditation, awareness through eating foods that maybe are not in our typical diet. And allowing our senses to become awakened, awareness through sisterhood, where each and every one of us carries something that the other needs, that we become mirrors to reflect back to each other the beauty, the essence, the power, our strength. We're invited to cry and we do, to laugh, and we do to dance. We have danced in the jungles of Costa Rica to the rice fields and Bali to the desert in Joshua Tree to the Red Rocks and Sedona. Oh my goodness, all the beauty. And we're gonna dance. But in in Greece, in the in the blue waters of Greece, we're invited to be silent and to be seen. And that's one of the things that I speak into every woman. I see you. Because I want her to know I see the truth of who she is, I see her beauty, I see her essence, I see her radiance, I see you. And so, unlike a vacation, we don't come back the same. That when you do travel for healing, you return home changed, more clear, more grounded, and more of who you really are. So there's so many benefits to traveling and traveling with the intent to heal. So, why would you say there is this type of impact? Because healing, watch this, needs new soil. When you step into a new environment, you give your nervous system a chance to reset. You start to breathe differently. I've seen it happen. We eat differently, you move differently. The body starts to relax, the mind quiets, and the soul remembers. Here's what I've witnessed, and actually, what research supports emotionally. Travel helps release stored stress and emotional residue. Spiritually, it reconnects you to wonder. You know, those like ah moments that we don't have often. That sense of awe, we often lose in our daily grind. Physiologic, psychologically, it opens pathways for reflection and integration. And energetically, it realigns you with flow, reminding you that life is bigger than a to-do list. I have literally watched women arrive exhausted, shoulders tight up to their ears, and uncertain, and leave literally radiant. One lady saw a picture of herself, and she did not recognize herself. Her eyes were softer, her heart was lighter, and her posture was more open. I've witnessed guilt dissolve into grace and love. I've witnessed women discover and rediscover laughter, pleasure, peace. I've even seen women leave with physical pain gone. Travel to heal, remind you that we are not broken. Just beneath all of all the things that we're carrying, we are perfect, complete, and lacking nothing. And when you step into this sacred space away from the noise, your true self rises to the surface again. So I want to invite you in this moment into a short reflection right here, right now, closing your eyes, unless you're driving or it's unsafe, and take a slow deep breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Let your shoulders drop, let your jaw relax, and let your spirit soften. Now ask yourself very gently and lovingly when was the last time I gave myself space to just be? Not to plan, not to perform, not to take care of anyone else, just to be. Maybe it's been a while, maybe you've forgotten what it feels like to be Cecil without guilt. Maybe you've been craving space, but didn't know where to begin. Let this question stay with you. What would it look like for me to create sacred space, to pause, to breathe, and return to myself? Your soul already knows what it needs. It is just waiting for you to listen. And if something stirred when you within you while you were listening to this episode, I just want you to know this is an invitation. Maybe it's time to follow the whisper to say yes to rest. And ultimately to choose you. This is what women are traveling to heal is really all about. It's a global sisterhood reclaiming the right to slow down, to soften, and to rise whole. If your soul has been calling for this space, I invite you to stay up in the with me on this podcast journey. We're gonna be going through more episodes focused on women are traveling to heal. And then I want to invite you too to consider. One of our retreats for 2026 all are designed for rest, release, and realignment. We're gonna be going to the North Georgia Mountains in February. We're gonna be going to Morocco, Africa in June. And then there's some other ones that are sprinkled in throughout the year that I haven't announced yet. So join making sure you get on the wait list to be to get all the details as they all unfold and follow me. Follow me on social media, Instagram. I have several videos about prior experiences at Natalie Warren, and you also be able to get some soulful inspirations and updates. So before we close, I want to leave you with the thought. You don't have to wait for permission to rest. You do not have to be in a crisis to change. You just need to listen to the voice within that's been whispering it's time. Because every woman chooses to heal. She doesn't just change her life, she ultimately changes generations.
